Frayed Cords and Dust Build Up

Whether it’s your home or work place we all have things plugged into an outlet. Many of our outlets are out of our site and once we plug things into them we don’t really look at them until we need to plug something else in or unplug something. We aren’t really looking at the other cords plugged in. But, it’s important to check the cords that are plugged in to the outlets to make sure they are not frayed or have too much dust build up. Frayed wires and dust build up is a major fire hazard. All it takes is a tiny spark to cause a disaster. So next time you are in your work place or at home take the time to check the cords plugged in and clean the dust in the area.
